Keemann :
Hmm ok, they go for £128 here in the UK, May just leave the graphics card and save up more money for an Nvidia. I prefer Nvidia to Sapphire.
Thanks for the help!
Also is there any good Nvidia's out there for the price at £75 max that can max out games at 720p resolution?
Read my edit. At your resolution the 6850 will be a beast. The only reason I said to get a new 7770 is because I was misinformed about the exchange rates. I play at 1920x1080 with my 6850 and yes, it shows it's age. By dropping the resolution the card doesn't have to work as hard allowing you to increase settings and AA & AF. See if your friend will lower the price and get it if you can't find a new 7770 within your price range.
In a nutshell, the 7770 & 6850 are pretty much identical in performance (6850 is
maybe 1-2 FPS faster). Both will allow you to play games at max settings at your resolution.
Edit: (Sorry, not thinking coherently this morning) If you prefer Nvidia to AMD then look at a GTX 650 Ti (faster than both the 7770 & 6850) and see where it falls in price. Another option for a new card is the GTX 650. It's not as fast as the 7770 but will still be fine for your resolution.
If you can hold out for 2 more months, the new Radeon line should be released.
