Hi everyone!

I purchased a 6700XT a few days ago, and I noticed that the fans are rapidly fluctuating while playing PUBG/Warzone. The GPU fans get really loud for a brief moment, then they go back to being quiet, and it keeps repeating. I'd say it sounds at least 2200 RPM in those situations, but AMD Adrenaline/MSI Afterburner never tracked higher than 1700RPM.

Is this normal behavior? Anyone else experienced anything like this?

My setup in case it helps:

It is a shame the fan check option in Trixx only works with nitro+ cards. That software not much good for your card, its been known to report it is broken because it only has 2 fans... software more for nitro+ cards.

if you in a game, its cause the components are heating up and fan needs to run faster to compensate for it. its fairly normal.. for instance: https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/d...ttently-at-full-speed-for-a-few-seconds/34948

The cards fans can go to over 3000 so you not imagining it. Adrenaline should be able to keep up.

what temps are you getting? Enough air getting to card to keep it cool?

The case uses negative pressure to cool GPU
so adding more fans really wouldn't help here.
