Hi everyone,

I have just build new PC. I used Gigabyte x570 UD mother board, Kingston m.2 SSD and Toshiba SATA HDD. When I check from BIOS, it says that SATA ports are not installed and I cannot see my HDD. I am pretty sure that cables of HDD is correctly pluged in. I also checked from Windows Installation and I can just see my SSD drive,HDD is not there. What might be the case? How can I make HDD to work? I would be happy if someone can help.

Regards,

Solution
Try connect to another SATA port. Some motherboards disable one or more SATA ports if you instal drive on M2 slot. Check your motherboard's manual to find this information.

I checked the manual of motherboard but I couldnt see such an information there. I will try to use different ports anyway.
