[SOLVED] Sata power switch power supply

I bought sata power switch to make it easier for me to do back up without plug in and out the back up hard drive.

They all come with 2 slots to connect to power supply. My question is do I need to plug in both to power supply?

From pictures others shared they connect both but some models come with options that has 2 types of input (IDE and SATA) which imply that only one is required.

I found my answer on amazon and it does require two power input for the type that has two SATA power input.
