I have an A7V8X mobo and an WD Raptor 360GD. When I auto-setup with promise fastbuild it says configures my single HD as a RAID 1+0 Array. Why I don't know, as far as I know I can't do anything about it!
When I try to Install WinXP Pro, and boot from the CD, it never gives me the "press <F6> to install SCSI and Raid drivers" Instead it says something to the effect of "inspecting system configuration."
When I hit <F6> after that message comes up I hear my CD-Rom driver firing, but!!! nothing ever appears on my screen. The driver installation thingy is up there I JUST CAN'T SEE IT!!! When I hit S then O and then a directional key and enter, different things will fire, i.e. my CD-Rom, Floppy, HD. But I never see anything. When I hit <F3> > <F3> > <Enter> my system reboots. Someone Plz Help me.

It should give you the option.

It will say, "boot from cd:...."
then start loading off the cd, saying inspecting system configuration. Then, it will go to a blue screen, with stuff running along the bottom. Hit F6 as soon as you get to this screen, you'll see the notice on the bottom. Continue along and it will ask you to install the drivers off of a floppy disk. Do so, then continue.
