Question screen dims and i have no adaptive brightness setting to turn off to fix windows 10

I left the room and my kid got on my computer desk to play with his cars and now when there is anything dark on my screen like a web page or a dark room or wall on a game my screen dims so dark that i cant even tell what im looking at and i dont have a "adaptive brightness" option under display or power settings to turn off im on intel windows 10 idk what he pressed on my keyboard or clicked to do it but i cant even play shooter games anymore its so bad.

just double checked theres no setting on my screen turned on that would cause it to auto dim
