Screen off center using DVI cable

So i decided to hook my playstation 3 up to my pc monitor via DVI cables only to find that the right part of my screen is cut off, ive tried changing the resolution on the playstation but it didnt work, auto adjust on the monitor also doesnt work.

Have you tried using the monitors controls to enable/disable overscan (1st choice) or to move the screens position & size?

Yes ive tried all the options in the monitors controls. Cant seem to find overscan on it though, might just be a problem with the monitor. Anyways i ordered a VGA HDMI cable so ill probably hook that up instead, itll be nice to have audio as well
