search forum = no results

the search feature at the top of the page is rather limited? for some reason when i try to search the forum i get no results. i just posted a topic about antec three hundred case fans. if i search forum for antec three hundred fans i get no results. what am i doing wrong or is this feature disabled?

Don't use that search for the forum, use the button under your profile at the top of the page (with the magnifying glass). Enter your search query and select a search type other than "All words" because I think that will search for an exact phrase only. Make sure you select the section you want to search in too. Sometimes it can help to search in messages rather than thread titles, but you shouldn't do that to start with as you'll likely get too many hits.
