Hello everyone! I need advice for choosing the right PSU for my new build. I have the option to pick Seasonic 1300w TX Titanium or Asus Rog Thor Platinum II 12OOw. Which one is better? Please don't advise me to pick a different one 'cos that's the only 2 models they sell in the store where I am planning to buy. Price of both are the same. Thanks for your attention :)

+ I don't care about RGB stuff, so the OLED screen on Asus Thor means nothing for me. I just want good performance for a long period of time, quality + customer service of the the brand. I read on the internet, that it's really important to pick the right PSU with quality transistors, fan and etc.

Literally the question of your visual preference.
Performance wise they are both top tier beasts.
If u dont mind me asking, what system will they be powering, smth with 3-4 GPU's xD?
I am building PC for 5-6 years ahead. The only thing that I will upgrade is probably GPU. Every year the power requirements are getting higher and 1200-1300w will be fine for the next 10 years

It is quite rare for a single GPU system to exceed 1000W, let alone more than that.
Even the current top of the line GPU, such as the RTX 4090 24GB, doesn't consume anywhere near 1000W at max load, even though manufacturers recommend a 1000W psu unit.
But I mean if you have the money, why not, 1300W PSU wont hurt your system lol.

Yea, I am working really hard and money is not a problem for me (happily) and the PC is the only hobby that I have after work. That's why I want to build a decent PC for the 5-6 years ahead. Today Nvidia recommends 1000w for 4090 but tomorrow they can ask 1300w for 5090 or 6090. We don't really know but I decided to guarantee myself in that choice at least

Alright I see, as I said above, both PSU's are top tier, the decision ultimately comes down to which one you like more.
Although i am leaning more to Seasonic, for a couple of reasons:
-it has 3 EPS (CPU) connectors, instead of 2 EPS connectors, the Thor offers.
-that extra 100W it offers
- 16 SATA connectors, instead of 12 SATA connectors on the Thor.
- Better 80+ efficiency
Keep in mind that the TX 1300W is 210mm long, while the Thor is 190mm, see if you can even fit them in your case.
Both have very overkill features, besides the ones I listed.
