second PCIE for video card only runs at 4x max

would it be worth putting in another video card if my motherboard will only run it at 4x mode just curious the one i have is Asus Z170-p here my other specs the only PCIE runs at the normaly 16x

GTX 950 FTW ACX 2.0
16 GB of G-Skill ram at 2133
I5 6500 CPU
Samsung 850 EVO 250 GB SSD
1 TB Western digital hard
SeaSonic M12II 620 Bronze 620W

You can't run them in SLI correct. Sometimes people want to run a gaming card and like a Quadro for professional work. I wouldn't recommend that should with a crippled slot like that. I've even seen people run a Nvidia in one slot and AMD in the other, don't know why but same thing if you're trying to game on it you're crippling yourself.
For what purpose is the second video card? If its to run a second monitor for like video or other applications while you game on the 950 sure you'd never know the difference.

However your GTX 950 should have enough ports to run 2 monitors and do that as well, so why bother.
 
Yea it's what I thought I'm actually needing to upgrade my GTX 950 it's just nvidia graphic card prices our all over the place right now I wasn't on running dual 950 I'm pretty sure youan't run them in sli mode anyways
