Hi recently I bought a new PC a few months ago. I just wanted to launch Battlefield 2042, and saw it required secure boot. Long story short I tried doing it myself in the BIOS and it stated it needed to be in user mode to be enabled and something about PlatformPK key was required so I went into custom and installed the platformPK and it said successful, reset without saving, and I clicked yes. Now everything won’t display. ChatGPT states I messed up. I’ve tried clearing the CMOS, and no luck still no display. Need some help here.

I have a X870E Aorus Master MOBO. I tried using the CMOS button the back too. Not sure what to do. I’d try the CMOS battery, but it’s hidden behind a stupid heatsink.

I also just realized the VGA light is on now on my motherboard? I’m not sure what that means. Mobo is throwing the Ad code.

Plz help

Hey there,

Please let us know which PC you bought, and what components it has. List CPU/GPU/Ram/Mobo/PSU/Storage etc.

Also, what bios is on the machine. You can reset CMOS, by taking the CMOS battery out, and shorting 2 pins. If it's behind a heatsink, you should be able to remove it. Then reset, then put the heatsink back.

You'll have to use integrated graphics to boot.
Make sure your cpu has integrated graphics. What model cpu is it BTW?
Unless you have Ryzen 5 7400F/7500F/8400F or Ryzen 7 8700F,
then your cpu should have integrated graphics.

Remove discrete gpu from system physically.
Connect monitor to integrated graphics video output on motherboard.
Boot up your system.

Go into BIOS and revert back your secure boot changes.

Ryzen 9 9950x3d. I’ll do that!

Hey this worked! I am in the BIOS, to revert my boot changes is there a specific way to do that? Or do I just switch custom mode back to standard. Thanks
