Question Secure system ,System setting & secureApp.exe using too much RAM- PC serious slowdown, getting stuck even at very basic usage

I have a 4yr old Asus Zenbook 13 with i7 16GB. secure system and searcchApp.exe using too much RAM. It slows down a lot when only few apps are running. When there's higher demand it can get stuck, The fans work fast even when idle. Beyond that the computer shuts down every now and then. This deterioration started in the passed year.



I am not sure when it started exactly so I am not sure the logs will be of help.



Some events that might be relevant are:

1. My zenbook had a problem restarting ever since I bought it, I fixed the problem a year ago (don't really remember how, so not a lot can be infered from that)

2. In January 24 I installed vmware and the computer was getting stuck a lot when the vm was up

3. Due to that I changed virtual memory definitions

Tried DIMC.exe and sfc as suggested by people here and in other forums. And today I have removed vmware, whois related to the secure system process . But secure system is still flagged suspended in the resource monitor.

Not it quite some time. I recently removed my Avast AV and soley using MS Defender. What anti- malware do you reccomend?
