I am using XP Home with SP2. When I right click in the text area of an
open Note Pad file I get a "select all" option.
When I do the same thing in a Word Pad file I do not get that option.
Is there any way that I can make the select all option available on right
click in Word Pad?

Thank you,
Bob

In Wordpad, either go to Edit | Select All or hit the Ctrl + A keys.

What you suggested is what I want to avoid doing. Is there any way to get
a prompt to "Select All" on right click?

Not that I know of. MS Word doesn't even have that option.

Cause there isn't. Why would there be. Though it can be added in Word.
