On select flight which I have used before and worked fine, but now when I try to
use it and click "fly now" it closes the program. I tried re-installing the
program.

What causes this and how do you fix it?

Thanks for the help in advance

This doesn't solve the problem Chris. But it might be a clue for others to
help. Does this shutdown only happen at a certain location? I get the same
thing when I try Sion, Switzerland. Everywhere else is fine.

No. It is anything in the "Select Flight". Whether I try the Wright Brothers or
the Mail run, it does not matter.

Hi Chris -- the fault you describe is a known bug in FS9.

What you need to do is download the latest Microsoft FS9 upgrade from their
website and that will fix it.

The upgrade which is free to download is called version 9.1.

Note the Subject line 9.1 not 9.0. The update was installed before I even used
the program. Like I said. It was working fine, but now it does not.

You might make sure that FS9.1 is truly installed. I understand that if you
have tried to install the new 9.1 No CD crack, it may not have worked, and
you could have reverted to FS9. Please disregard if you already knew this.

Cheers,

I thought of that so I installed the update also. No luck.

I also uninstalled everything (update then 04). Deleted all files in the
registry and also the data files in my documents. I then restarted the computer
disabled anti-virus software and installed the program. Still the same problem.
I can not under stand what is causing this. Everything else in the program works
fine.
