Hi I sent my crackling psu back to ccl computers, the PSU was brand new but when playing games with high fps or high gpu usage in general my PSU made a weird crackling noise that sounded electrical, I'm certain it isnt coil whine tho as I tried my 600 watt old PSU and it sounded completely different, here are my specs.

GTX 1060 3gb
RYZEN 5 3600XT
16gb 3600mhz Corsair ram
Rog STRIX b450f mb
2tb wd green HDD
480gb SSD
4 rgb system fans powered via 4 pin molex
Brand new cv650 Corsair PSU (awaiting a refund/replacement)

Will the problem continue if I get the same Psu?
The mailman probably dropped the other one I had as it had a dent in the box and a faulty power lead so I had to use my old one.

Thanks !

I snagged a PSU that was used for 2 days before the seller decided they wanted a modular PSU, he was selling for 80 but I got him down to 50 and it was an antec tp750 gold rated, it should do the job right?
Kinda weird that it has only been used or 2 days since that series is already pretty old. A review from feb 2014,
not a bad psu for that time, but would really like something more recent myself. Read the review and make your own mind up. With a warranty of 5 years and maybe from 2014 is it already out of warranty so keep that in mind.

Looking at what CCL has to offer would i really want to go for something like this...

Looking at what you say probably not. No harm in trying it if you get a replacement. If you could would i rather upgrade it to something abit better.
