Shader model 2???

i have a desk top computer (xp) and i just got the sims 3 game but i can't play it with out the shader model 2. what is that? and how can i get it??

Sounds like you need a graphics card. I've read some stuff about a crack that lets you get past hardware requirements for that game, but it will NOT run well at all, and I don't recommend it.

What kind of computer do you have (make/model)?

I have the same problem apparently we dont have shaders that are model 2 or later and need to buy new graphics cards, and just my luck i dont have PCI g card input D:
