Hello,
I have a hardwired network with 10 workstations plugged into switch. Printer plugged into switch. Server plugged into switch. Switch plugged into router. Router DHCPs except printer is static IP. All have access to internet through server then out through router. Have added another workstation that is not allowed access to the network (on purpose) but needs to be able to use the printer. The workstation is not under our security for virus control, etc so I don't want it in the server. But it needs access to internet and access to printer. Should I create a separate subnet from the router and keep the workstation separate there? If so, then how can I keep the printer accessible to both subnets?
