Share files domain workgroup

I have a large domain and a few-computers based workgroup environment. Workgroup environment is mostly used by contractors and external people so I want them to be separate from the domain. Sometimes they require access to shared files on the domain computers. Is there any way we could share files on a domain-based computer in such a way that workgroup guys can access them as well without being as domaingroup?
please help me I wat to know it as soon as possible

This all hinges on you domain and workgroup computers being on the same network.

Create a contractor user account on the domain. Create a group containing that account. Select a network share you want them to have access to and give that group permissions to it, you need to setup both File and Share rights for that group. When the contractors need access, they can connect by clicking on Start - Run - and typing in the share name \\server1\share1. It will prompt them for a username and password, for the username they need to enter it in this format "domainname\username" and then the password you assigned to the user account you want them to use.
