I am using Asus Cerberus multi color back lite keyboard. And all of a sudden my two keys stopped working. "middle Enter" Key and "left Shift" key.
i have tried troubleshooting but nothing working, i have done
1-) Set the toggle and sticky keys off
2-) Uninstall and the window 10 auto drivers for keyboard

I tried the same Keyboard on my other laptop and these two keys are not working with it as well.
I dnt know if there is hardware problem or some keyboard Firmware issue. I didnt throw any kind of liquid of Keyboard or drop the keyboard on floor. the keys became dead all of a sudden.
If there is hardware problem, is there anyways to fix that issue?
Just dnt want to loose it as i bought it for 50$
Thanks

OK, it looks like you've cleaned the keyboard properly on the outside and also under the keys (which must be done carefully not forcing the keys off and on... I've damaged keyboards doing that in the past I'm sorry to say). Consider resetting the keyboard back to factory default settings and seeing if it works normally afterwards like this:

• Press and hold [Fn] + [Delete] for about three (seconds) until the Nums Lock, Caps Lock, and Win Lock LEDS flash thrice, then flash once to indicate that the reset process is completed.

If it's fixed after the reset, great. If not, then register your keyboard with ASUS if you have not already done so here: https://www.asus.com/us/supportonly/Cerberus Keyboard MKII/HelpDesk/ and finally...

I would:

  1. Carefully clean the keyboard: https://www.wikihow.com/Clean-a-Keyboard
  2. Might be good to download the user manual for your particular keyboard and read it: https://www.asus.com/us/support/Download-Center
  3. Depending on your model of ASUS keyboard, you might need to download software for it and upgrade the keyboard firmware.
What model of ASUS keyboard do you have?

ASUS Cerberus MKII Multi-Colour LED Backlit Gaming Keyboard. As I have said there is no derivers aviable for that model on its website. Here it is
https://www.asus.com/us/supportonly/Cerberus Keyboard MKII/HelpDesk_Download/
It uses windows 10 default keyboard drivers.
For the record I have cleaned the transparent plastic sheets inside of keyboard,But nothing seems to work. The "Enter" and "left shift" key doesnt work even when i poke that round bars of the plastic sheet.

The circuit wires of that plastic sheet looks to appear fine. I dnt know whether the problem is with plastic sheet or bottom right corner main circuit board.
Is there anything else i could do to fix the issue?

RESET keyboard exactly the way you said but nothing seems to work. These two keys are permanently gone for some reason. i guess i have to buy new keyboard. anyways thanks for your answer.
