My friend has a 1080ti for $500 and that is my utmost limit I can spend on a gpu. Should I get it. I believe it is a SC2 or FTW3. Is it a fair price? I don't plan on upgrading for 5 or 6 years.

Solution
That is a WONDERFUL Price for a SC2/FTW3 1080 ti. On Newegg US the lowest Refurbished 1080 ti is $569 (ZOTAC AMP!). A 1080 ti is suburb for like 5-7 Years, as long as you aren't a person who runs 5 Triple AAA Games at the same time. As long your friend confirms it works, then it's all good. Tell him he's a good friend for selling a legitimate price.
