I'm looking at a 2500 - 3000 dollar pc and am wondering because of there being no pwm fans in the case, could I plug the aio pump into the cpu fan header? Would that work?
Usually the fan(s) for the AIO work best on the CPU header. Then the pump gets plugged into a case fan port with it set to 100% in the BIOS. That way the fans on the radiator speed up as the CPU gets hotter. The pump runs at a constant rate.

It's just I wont have any other device to use in the cpu header, and unless there's a way for me to disable an alarm for it, I could see how the pump would possibly draw too much, but will it work?
What prevents you from putting the radiator fan(s) on the CPU header? You could put the pump on the CPU header, but you want to set it to NOT change speed with the CPU temp.
