I play all my games at 1080p.
Yes i do have this card overclocked.
I have 460 dollars that i should save but have decided to blow on my computer.

Rig:
3570k
7850 OC
500watt reputable psu
8 gb 1600
1tb hard drive

Should i upgrade?
Thanks for reading.

Depends, do you find the performance from it lacking?
Also depending on the model of PSU you might not have the connectors available to get a higher end card.

You could use the money on other things like an SSD, cooling, bigger and better case, more RAM if you need it, more monitors if you want them. There are other ways to spend that cash constructively.

Then it seems a graphics card upgrade is in your future.
Given that a new PSU (say a TX650) will cost ~$100, that leaves you enough cash for a HD7950 or GTX660ti.
I would personally go with the 7950, but they are both pretty much the same for performance. It would come down to the games you play which one is better and whether you value PhysX at all.

There is also secret option number 3 of Crossfiring another 7850.

Although I don't usually suggest this, I think I'll make an exception in this case. The Radeon HD 8xxx series seems awfully close, and will probably release in this quarter, and it might be worth waiting for. However, if you're already set on spending that money, the above suggestions will do wonderfully.

I wonder if the 8XXX series are to be a huge performance jump like they were this one.

Crossfire sounds pretty tempting... Is there microstutter with the 7850 cf setups?

From what has been seen so far of the 8000 series, I wouldn't expect a big performance boost, more a power efficiency one. That being said, you would still see a big performance boost if you were going from a 7850 to say an 8970.

Dont know to be honest. From what I know of it its only an issue with low end cards of a few generations ago, and even then its down to how sensitive the user is if its noticeable.
Might wanna browse around and see if you can find anyone else with a similar setup and their feedback on micro-stutter.
