What are you actually doing on it first? My Mac mini 2010 has 2gb of ram and I have the old spinning hard drive.
I am going to be using Final Cut Pro and Xcode and uses google chromeWhat are you actually doing on it first?
This will determine which, if any you should upgrade.
If you just do basic tasks and would rather have faster boot ups and quicker program loads, SSD.
If I get a ssd for example how would I reinstall Mac OSWell those kind of programs would almost warrant 4GB of RAM.
The SSD will give you more obvious up front benefits.
The additional RAM will help your main applications run more effectively (referring specifically to Final Cut, Xcode and Chrome)
Fina; cut typically requirs 4GB, Xcode 4/8GB and Chrome can use all the RAM in the world.
it might differ between different MacOS versions. So you'll probably want to find this first. If I get a ssd for example how would I reinstall Mac OS
