I currently have a PC (AMD Ryzen 5 2600, NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1660 TI, 16 gb of ram ddr4) with a Gamdias Kratos M1 550B power supply. This computer is prebuilt and I've had it for around a year and a half with no issues as far as PC crashes goes, but I do often experience freezing of games and slowness when I stream intense games. With no reviews for this PSU and it seems to be cheap quality, would there be any purpose in buying a higher quality PSU from Corsair with the same wattage? Could I see a change in the freezing of my stream and game applications? Or would spending 100$ on a higher quality PSU with the same wattage as my cheaper PSU be a waste of money

They aren't a well known brand but it may not be a bad PSU just cause you don't know its name. The review of another PSU by them here shows they can be good - https://www.tweaktown.com/reviews/9...looking at the PSU,job of getting things done.

half the reviews here say it died pretty fast - https://www.amazon.com/GAMDIAS-ASTRAPE-M1-550W-Supply-Certified/product-reviews/B07BVP554S

The lack of reviews makes it an unknown. I can't tell who actually makes the PSU for them.
