Question Should I upgrade my SATA SSD?

Hey guys,
As we all know, RAM and SSDs are very cheap right now. I'm using a Plextor 120GB SATA SSD and a 1TB HDD. I just found a good deal on an Samsung PM981a 250GB, should I buy this for my system? If so, should I use it as boot drive or leave it to store programs?

Really? I use a Ryzen 5 3600, RX580 system. I often use my pc for coding and some gaming. My HDD is almost full now with about 200GB of free space. Also, I use my SSD as boot drive and it now has only 50GB left. I'm planning to install some more heavy program like Adobe suite. What do you think I should do?

What is the price on this PM981? I'd probably go for a newer, faster, possibly larger drive.
That 981 is a couple year old tech.

It’s about 45$ for 250GB. And this is a newer PM981a with 3500 read and 2200 write.
