Yes. Why not?

You've no doubt read all the huffing and puffing in the media about "problems".
That is absolutely NOT universal. There is a "problem" with some small subset of systems in EVERY software update. Windows/Linux/Mac/whatever.

You'll be fine.
Always have a good backup, just in case.

Always a difficult question but on a personal note, I am running 2004 and it has been perfect....but that is just for me...
