Question Should I wait for RTX 5060 or get a 4070 now? Thank you.

Should I wait for RTX 5060 or get a 4070 now? Thank you.
If you're considering a 4070, then you should be looking at the 5060 Ti as an alternative, not the 5060.

Something else to consider, does your power supply have support for a 16 pin power cable? All 50 series cards are going to have them. I've been doing a bit of searching, and I have yet to find a harness adapter that allows you to plug 2 8 pin PCIe connectors into a card with a 16 pin connector. I've seen the opposite, where you can use a 16 pin connector on the power supply, to power a card that has 2 8-pin connectors, but not the reverse.

I wont say all but pretty sure 95% of all cards that use a 16 pin come with an adapter that goes from 16 pin on card to 2/3 8pin from PSU. My 4070 Ti super came with an adapter, and if you have watched any of the reviews on the 5000 series they also come with adapters that have way more flexible wires then the older 4000 series ones.

Cablemod even offers 3 x 8 pin to 16pin for multiple PSUs, bottom of first page.

Is the jury still out on whether the 40xx series can run AI/DLSS4/MFG as well as the 50xx series? I'd be wary if the 50xx comparable product can outrun the 40xx with these tools on the long run.
