Under the "Nvidia Control panel -> Manage 3D settings -> Global Settings -> Vertical sync", i have the default "Use the 3D application setting" option selected. Other options are: Off, On, Adaptive, Adaptive (half refresh rate), Fast.@Aeacus, With the newer Nvidia driver does it allow any kind of adaptive sync with that new monitor & 1060?
So, i made several runs in Unigine Heaven benchmark with different settings and i tell right away that i couldn't see any screen tearing. It could be that my eye isn't trained to see screen tearing since i don't play fast-paced games almost at all. Or it's because Unigine Heaven, which is slow-paced benchmark. Faster-paced benchmark (e.g in GTA V) might show the screen tearing better but i don't have that game.@Aeacus, With the newer Nvidia driver does it allow any kind of adaptive sync with that new monitor & 1060?
Night shot of complete setup.
Since monitor also has it's own RGB LEDs, colors reflect off the wall. This is especially visible at night time.
Since i have Corsair KB, mouse and headset, all capable for RGB; i also bought RGB capable Corsair mouse pad and headset stand to complete the eyecandy setup.Ooh, I like that RGB mousepad. I may have to buy one to complete my setup. I finally bit the bullet and ordered the Kraken X62 this week. I'll be buying my new GPU shortly.

Far Cry 5 integrates with the Corsair iCue software and turns my keyboard, mouse and mousepad into a waving American flag among other cool effects. Pretty neat. First game I've played that can talk to all my Corsair stuff.
Nice. Although now you gotta deal with all the Amazon bloatware and them pushing all their Amazon stuff in your face. Lol.Nice. I just got a V35 ThinQ last month. Love it.
There's no bloatware on Prime phones anymore. You can uninstall any of the Prime specific stuff that does come on it. But since I use Amazon all the time and have had Prime for almost 10 years I'm fine with what's there.
Quad DAC = Good.
In my primary rig, i took out the Noctua D14 that I had been using and replaced it with a new NZXT Kraken X62. I also replaced the GPU (MSI 1060) with an EVGA 2070. And the result looks great. Here it is before:
Noooooo! Air cooling traitor!
I kid, looks good!
It's funny I thought about going the Chromax route but I figured by the time I paid for all the Chromax parts I could easily get a Kraken X62.
My other rigs are still air cooled though!

Though, why 2x HUE+ controllers?
Yes, i know since i bought the same set of 2x AER140 RGB fans and HUE+ controller for my Skylake build as well.I didn't use the other one, the fans I bought came in a package that included two fans and a controller.
Did you see much of an improvement in temps? In my primary rig, i took out the Noctua D14 that I had been using and replaced it with a new NZXT Kraken X62. I also replaced the GPU (MSI 1060) with an EVGA 2070. And the result looks great. Here it is before:

Though, you can use the 2nd HUE+ as well if you want to get 2x extra LED channels for your build. E.g for underglow or behind monitor.
