Question Side mouse button has popped off (Red Dragon Griffin M602A-RGB) ?

My Red Dragon mouse decide it didn't like the side button anymore, so It popped out and I have searched through the internet trying to find somebody that knew how to fix it, alas little to no luck.

My question is: Does anybody know how to refit a side mouse button that has popped off ?

My mouse is a Red Dragon Griffin M604A-RGB.

Any signs of physical breakage or deformation in/on the button?

You might be able to flex or reshape the button back to where it will go back into place. As for how long that will last - who knows....?

If a "self-repair" is not possible or viable (or even worth trying) buying a new mouse will probably be less expensive.

Any remaining warranty?

No sign of physical damage, just looks like it could be popped back in

I think a self-repair is possible, again it looks like it can be popped back in, but I don't want to break it. I wanted to see if anybody knew if it was fixable.

Warranty is a no, but I don't wanna buy a whole new mouse for such a small problem.

Popping the button in may work. And it may not break.

However, the button may no longer stay popped in.....

Which would require some sort of refit.

What I would do is carefully stretch, expand, or otherwise "shape" the button to go back into place. And take a close look at the molding around the button.

Could be some burr or other piece of plastic that is interfering with the button staying in place.

Perhaps a bit of strategically placed clear tape would tighten things up.

"Repair", pop the button back into place, and hope for the best.

However that is just me. You will need to decide what level of risk you are willing to take.

If the mouse is now unplayable there is really nothing to lose....

Late thought: post a couple more photographs showing the mouse and side button.

There may be other ideas and suggestions.
