Scotty,

HAL
"Dave, what are you doing? That machine was not meant to interface with my outdated systems. Dave? WOW!"

R2D2
"Beepier duewweephhhee eep uhhooopeep"
C3PO
"My counterpart suggests this device replace the hyperdrive before any further attempts at a hyperspacial jump. The system will be able to communicate with your current network far faster, yielding a jump calculation in approximately 1/10.455905 the time currently required."

Kaylee (a dreamy look in her eyes)
"Oh if only Mal would let me buy high quality parts like this for Serenity, we wouldn't be stranded in the deep dark near as often."

Robin
"Zowee Batman! Holy cooling watertubes! Blazing speed! Faster than the Batcomputer!"

Marvin
"Pardon me for breathing, which I never do anyway so I don't know why I bother to say it, oh God I'm so depressed. Here's another one of those self-satisfied computers. Crysis! Don't talk to me about Crysis."

M. Python
"By carefully constructing a case from wattles found in the vicinity of the isolated village, we might be able to improve on this design. Yes, quite"

So uhh, I need a new system to take with me on my deployment to Korea. Hook me up so I don't have to piss off the wife and blow money we dont have on upgrading mine.

I'll load this computer up with all my software.
So my gaming opponents had better beware.
Thanks for having this contest Tom's Hardware.

Am I smart? Moderately. Am I witty? Fail. 🙁

Could you make the contest based on smart and corny comments? I may have a chance.

Oh, sweet custom PC.
How much do I long for thee.
With your quad-core i7,
and that sweet cooling system,
had I the cash I'd buy one for me.

Something witty huh. Asking a bunch of right brained people to say something witty on the spot. Wrong demographic Tuan. Our wittiness, lack of, should be plenty apparent in the repetition of comments, the on going Crysis jokes and the amount of people who ask if they can win. I think next time we should have to write a Haiku, eliminating crappy comments and at least pathetic attempts at Haiku's would be entertaining from a bunch of people who read about the latest benchmarks, it would be so poetic.

nice i guess this would be an awesome upgrade from my 2005 pc that cant even play a single game which has onboard graphics with 64 MB...

and it would be nice to have the Nividia GTX 460 and intel i7 that comes with the gorgeous beast

Chuck Norris doesn't need tips from Tom's Guide, Chuck Norris gives tips to Tom's Guide.

Chuck Norris's machine definitely plays Crysis. If not, he roundhouse kicks it.

[citation][nom]someguynamedmatt[/nom]28 pages?! Are you kidding me?!How about we take an extra few days and look through the news archives and read peoples' posts there? This should really go to the people who consistently post on a variety of different topics across the news pages, not to the person who can spam the most on this one stupid thread...Just another $0.02...[/citation]

Yes, there is spam on a article but it does draw alot of attention to their website. More Attention= More Revenue. I myself am a newbie and didn't know about Tom's Hardware until the contest. I have my daily websites that i browse for my tech gear and it's nice to know that Tom's Hardware website keeps up to date on computer equipment unlike many other outdated sites. They have tons of articles that people get involved in and it's nice to know and read the experience people have with hardware.
For me, opinions matter the most and they have great feedback on their articles.

A few people, myself included, actually put poetry, haha. I think someone might have actually written a haiku, too.

I've been a reader for a few months or so (I don't actually remember), but I haven't really been a commenter until now. What I always do after reading an article is read through a lot of the comments. There's quite a bit of interesting information stored in them.

[citation][nom]Typhoidmary[/nom]As a fan of discreet cases, I'm not entirely sold on the new AZZA cases that have been coming out lately, but I'll be the first to say that it is impressively spec'd, all it needs is a little SSD loving, and it would be a killer rig for almost anything.Crysis, while running Bad Company 2 in the background? check.Folds like a beast, while letting me read tom's? check. Whitens your teeth while you drive? jury's still out. Winning this system would be like watching the entire Mexican Air Force crash land into a Natural gas terminal, it would be that awesome.[/citation]

Azza cases are not bad. It looks great to me but you have to realize that when your building a computer...that people look for cases by not spending too much on a case. On Azza cases, they offer a great deal on their cases without the sacrifice of emptying out on their wallets. You can spend all your money on a case and get junk specs on the machine but people do look for combination of price and style.

I want to win so I can give this rig to my Dad. He's currently "gaming" using a old Dell from the stone age. Every time he turns it on I shudder a little.

I was trying to think of a Haiku, thanks to my girlfriend mentioning them.
I had recalled reading about this contest, but since I couldn't think of a good haiku I went for a cheesy limerick instead.
In short: I completely agree with your statement.

Bumblebee Tuna! (Yeah, just rediscovered the second Ace Ventura and figured, if I would spam, I should probably do it in the most annoying way possible, sorry y'all).

[citation][nom]goalguy876[/nom]Only a GTX 460 in that beast? (I still want it, toms )[/citation]
It has room for some SLI in that motherboard 😛

[citation][nom]saber48[/nom]That's a cool pc, is it a 800 or 1000 watts psu?( picture shows 1000 watt)[/citation]

I believe it's a 800watts. The specs are right above the pictures.
