Question Silverstone AR12 RGB + i5-11400, high temps

Installed Silverstone AR12 RGB air cooler on i5 11400 but temps still reaching 87degrees celsius on Prime95 stress test

On stock cooler temps were reaching 88-90, now after installing the aftermarket air cooler, temps are reaching 87 degrees. I don't think these are normal temps. What could go wrong? I followed the manual and properly installed the cooler as per the mounting mechanism. Used a pea sized thermal compound. Pressure is also good on the CPU.

I wouldn't say that is too hot for a prime test. What are the temps during gaming?

Can you please state the make and model of your motherboard and the BIOS version for said motherboard? What is the make and model of your chassis? What sort of airflow are you dealing with in said case? Ambient room air temps? What sort of temps are you seeing when taxed by a game? Try reseating the cooler and inspect the cooler's mount(spread of the thermal paste) when you're taking the cooler off. A picture of what you see thermal paste spreading wise, will help us two fold.
