Simple question - BIOS (GA-7N400 Pro) flash from USB FDD ok?

Hi all

I only have a USB FDD connected to my system is it possible I can update the
BIOS using the Q-Flash utility? The BIOS allows the PC to boot from a USB
FDD so this suggests it should be possible?

Answered my own question 😱( Put a FD in the USB FDD and asked the Q-Flash
utility to back-up the BIOS. Result; FDD error, looks like I'm either going
to have to do it the old fashioned DOS way (I've had problems with this in
the past with WinXP) or buy a FDD just for flashing the BIOS. It all just
seems so ..... *primitive* somehow.

I wish they'd get the Windows BIOS update facility working this would be my
preferred option.

I wish they would enable it so you can do it via any simple USB disc - the
little dongle ones.
IE a USB disc formatted for FAT or FAT32 with DOS and so on.
