[SOLVED] Simple question, What is a Supplementary Power Connection?

Solution
So with the nvidia 1650 super gpu that says no supplementary power connection I can just plug it in without having to get a newer psu?
Well that depends on what PSU you have now, but assuming your PSU isnt a blatant fire hazard, yes that is what it means.
If you want to double check you can link the card you are looking at and Ill check.
In general that means a power cable coming from the power supply.
For example, graphics cards draw 75w of power from the motherboard. Some cards can run on just this 75w. Most cards are going to require additional (or supplemental) power from the PSU via 6 or 8 pin PCIe cables.
