SLI 9500GT or Move Up

Hi I just upgraded my system to a ASUS X58 based P6T i7. I have an exsisting ASUS 9500GT and I was wondering if it's worth spending another $60 to SLI with another 9500GT or should I just dump it and get something better?

I really don't want to spent a whole lot, like less than $200.

a 9600gt is faster than 2 of the 9500gt i would dump the old tech and get something more updated.. ati is really showing out right now go grab a dx 11 card

1280 X 1024 is perfect. I'll have to get a new monitor too. I was using a 20" Sony VGA. I know, it's old but the image is far superior to any video on LCD I've seen. The blacks are so deep and it smooths out everything. Anyone have a LCD model that comes close to CRT? Or maybe I can use an adaptor on the DVI. I'll have to find out if I can do that with a Sapphire Card. Some DVI's don't have those analog pins.

Well for 1280 X 1024 you don't need an expensive card. An HD4670 or a 9600 GSO/GT should perform well. Those cards are $40-70.
If you are going to get a new monitor though the card should be based on the native resolution for the new one. So you need to pick out the new monitor first before deciding what card to get to go with it. If it's 1680 x 1050 then look at an HD4770/4850 or GTS 250(all about $100) or if you are will to spend a little more an HD4870 or HD5750($130ish)
If the resolution is higher than that then it really depends on what you want to spend. At the $200 price point you mentioned you'll want to look an HD4890 or GTX 275.

Thanks for that info. I'll plan on making sure I match the native rez of the LCD I get and get the best card I can afford based on that rather than just get the fastest card.
