Question Slow bios boot, search bar and windows button issues

Hello

Just had something weird happen on the PC its happend twice now

Closing a game in steam its seem to lag and i cant do anything on the pc for a few seconds and this time after it happen when i click on the blue windows icon in the corner it wont do anything

signing out and back in fixed it but curious why this would be happening

I've done dsim restore health and sfc scan after it happen by the way

And had a couple of slow bios boots recently

It could be that an update was pending. If you think it's the OS, and SFC/DSIM doesn't help resolve the issue, then you should think about backing up mission critical data, recreate your bootable USB installer for your OS and then reinstall the OS in offline mode.

Make and model of the motherboard? BIOS version for your motherboard?

The bios version I'm on is 2214 and the motherboard is ASUS® TUF GAMING B650-PLUS WIFI (AM5, DDR5, PCIe 4.0, Wi-Fi 6)

I can't uodate the bios without permission from the company I bought the pc from as that voids the warranty I have with them and when we last checked both bios updates were out that fixed problems only ones that added support for new hardware
