Hi folks--
I have a Dell Inspiron 3700 that I bought in 1999 and is still going strong.
As it is my *second/backup* system, I'm happy with it and haven't upgraded
it since I bought it, other than moving up to Windows ME, and upgrading the
IE/OE software when necessary. I have 256 MB RAM in the computer, and only
occasionally run MS Word, or less frequently, Excel.
However, the curser occasionally gets hard to control and point. For
example, when I'm in OE and in the newsgroups window, I find it difficult to
move the curser/pointer around to select a message thread or close a message
window. This happens when OE is open on its own, or with other programs
(like IE or Real One) open at the same time.
Does anyone here on the newsgroup have ideas on what's causing this? I've
checked my mouse settings and they are the way I like them, so I don't
really think that's the problem, but I'm open to changing them if it would
fix the problem. The problem is quite troublesome at times and I'd really
like to get it fixed!
