SMART self test doesn't finish - stucks at 10% left

Hello,

I have 4 caviar green hdds (WD20EARS) connected to with a RAID 10 to an Asus P8Z68-V motherboard.

Although previously completed without any problem, both long and short SMART self tests on all 4 hdds fail to complete and get stuck showing 10% left. No errors are reported.

Is this an indication that something is wrong with the hdds? Can it be related to an Intel RST driver?

Some directions in resolving the issue will be highly appreciated.

It seems odd that all drives are behaving the same way.

Have you tried running Data LifeGuard from a bootable CD, with each drive connected in AHCI or IDE mode rather than RAID?

It's got resolved without me changing anything. Very, very strange...
