Question Smudge in monitor

Hi,
i have a samsung monitor but yesterday when i switched on the display i noticed a oily smudge in screen does anyone know what caused this and how to fix it.here is the image

Do that again with some plain backgrounds so we can get a better idea of what it looks like.

I would almost say de-lamination of the infrared filter or anti-glare coating. But it looks more like individual pixels are not displaying the right color and letting the backlight through.

Either way, looks serious and you are probably looking at a new monitor.

This looks like the glass and laminate layers are separating. It's a manufacturing defect I've seen a few times, and the only fix is to replace it.
