[SOLVED] So i did this build and before buying i want to know if they are compatible.

Solution
Yes, but do understand that the i5-9400F is not overclockable. I'd suggest changing something up. That i5-9400F will work well, but some games will show its limitations.

I would consider an i5-9600K or a Ryzen 5 3600.

Just one question what if i choose an AMD Ryzen 7 2700 x and also changing the motherboard to a

Gigabyte B450M DS3H Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard
but the rest of the pc that i said like GPU and ram and the cooler still the same they are still compatible and that boost a little the performance right?

Some (if not most) games the i5-9400F will still be faster than the Ryzen 7 2700X. The 2700X would only be faster in the few games where the i5-9400F would be limited in multi-threading. The Ryzen 5 3600 is faster than the 2700X and has SMT (simultaneous multi-threading) so it can handle a bigger load than the i5-9400F which doesn't have any form of SMT.

The 2700X will outlive the i5-9400F, but I would only buy the 2700X if it were cheaper than the Ryzen 5 3600. Otherwise, I would by the Ryzen 5 3600.
