Question so my pc is booting up fine ( lights on both gpu and the fan) but there is no signal on the screen

this happend after i changed my cpu however i changed it back to my old but its still the same issue, i tried cleaning the ram and cmos but still the same thing pls help (cables and the monitor is fine) and i plugged the cable into my gpu not the cpu.

Old amd ryzen 5 2400g new amd ryzen 7 3700x
Motherboard asus b450 tuff gaming
Last 2 not sure :/ but it’s 16 gb ram

Any lights on the motherboard on? Check power cables, easiest things first

There is lights and everything is plugged in

not rgb lights the ones that are small and indicate that something is wrong.

I can only see the rgb ones on the tuff gaming writing where exactly should I be looking?

on my b450 tomahawk max board there is 4 small led lights, the are cpu, vga, dram, and boot in really tiny lettering.

What bios version do you have? The 3700X uses a newer bios than the 2400g.

I can’t I open my pc booting fine but no signal in monitor and it turns off I replug the cable the monitor comes back on just to say no signal

maybe try a different port, but besides that make sure ur gpu is plugged all the way

What GPU do you have? Are the fans on the GPU spinning?

You also might want to do a clear CMOS too.

Rtx 2070 super and yes they are spinning and lighting too

Try putting the old CPU back in and do a clear CMOS before you power it on.

I’m pretty sure I tried it on another pc and it was working fine
