[Solved] 12 gb memory question thanks

I have a 4 months old Dell 9100 computer and is showing only 8GB memory installed instead of 12GB. I ran CPU-Z and is showing 6 slots with 2 GB each.

If you're using only the original dell ram, then go by cpuz. If you've added some different ram, then you may have an issue. Dell boards are designed to only work with dell approved ram.
