[SOLVED] Some games run great, others, not so much

Hi,
Before I get started, this is my current rig:
AMD Ryzen 9 3900X
32GB RAM
AMD Radeon RX580 8GB
Windows 11 Pro
SSD Main Drive

I upgraded to Windows 11 Pro when it officially dropped. Before this, I had no problems with any of my games. After the upgrade, I continued to have NO problems. However, I recently did a fresh install of Windows 11 Pro and now I'm having some issues.

Some games run fantastic on max settings. These are:
  • Black Mesa
  • Among Us
  • TESV: Skyrim Special Edition (with a whole lot of mods)

Others, not so much:
  • Valheim (no more than 10 fps, even on low settings)
  • Final Fantasy XIV (2 fps)
  • GTAV (2 fps)

All of my drivers are up to date. My current settings are exactly as they were before the fresh install. No new applications, no settings changes, nothing new.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to inquire for more information as necessary.

Thank you.

Solution
Your ram is at 2133. You need to get that back up as high as you can.
I would make a backup, and then begin by enabling XMP in the bios, and retest.

I'll get right on that. However, why would my RAM speed affect only a select few titles and not all in the same manner?

EDIT: I upped my RAM speed to 3200, as its running right now, and it seems to be stable. There's been no change in performance on those games though.

UPDATE:

Running Valheim with Vulkan allows Valheim to run perfectly.

Running Final Fantasy XIV on DirectX 9.0c allows the game run at 100+ fps.

I tried to downgrade DirectX on GTA5 but it only comes down to DirectX 10.0. Still runs at 2 FPS.

This is now an issue with DirectX 11.

I'm going to continue researching this.
