Who knows. No point in speculating.

I'm commenting on what I see today. Today I see a paper launch and a disastrous one at that. Its a golden opportunity for AMD.

Don't hold your breath. It may be a golden opportunity for AMD to pull something they haven't pulled since the HD 5870, but given AMD's history they're probably going to just price them $100 less than nVidia as usual.

Probable.
Would be a mistake IMO but they probably will. Corporations think short term, not long term so your assessment is likely the outcome.

Skål. Our world is truly a dystopia.

Have you ever asked for it?
There's been five times I've bought used hardware and a proof of purchase has become relevant; Two PSUs, two GPUs, and a wifi router.

The router I was able to get in touch, but they couldn't find a receipt. The others either didn't respond or were a local exchange where I'd lost their phone number by the time I needed to make a claim.

I make the sale contingent when I buy something that I have such information. Usually people find the info when they know they can sell their item if they have it.
