I have been using my pc fornlast 2 years and recently its causing problems. The pc used to post and boot normally but at times, it doesn't even post. No power whatsoever.
Tried with new psu taking off ram and gpu, nothing happened. Its like motherboard isn't getting any power. After few hours if i switch the pc on it turns on and works fine.
Moreover if i put my pc to "sleep" mode it causes the same problem.

I confused if my motherboard is the problem or not and how to troubleshoot it.
BTW it only happens sometimes!

Thank you for your replies in advance

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

We're going to need a little more information. Please parse the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:

As for the PSU that you tried swapping with, include that unit's make and model(and age if it was used in any form). As for your build, try and disconnect from the wall and monitor, press and hold down the power button for 30 seconds. Reconnect to the wall and monitor and see if the system powers up. If it does, then you have a grounding issue.

CPU: Ryzen 5 2600
Motherboard: gigabyte B450M s2h
Ram: Gail Sper 8gb 3200
SSD/HDD: 250gb ssd and 2 HDD (1TB toshiba and 1tb WB blue)
GPU: XFX RX570
PSU: corsair 450VS
OS: windows 10 professional.

I did the ground check and still didn't work. I am using a UPS too...

I tried removing every component and tried switching the motherboard yet didn't start.
Its like my motherboard isn't getting any power.

It runs fine and this problem happens at times. And for some reason its not POSTING since yesterday.
