Question Son installed amd adrenaline on a gtx card....

Hello all.

I handed over a working PC for my son and he installed adrenaline over the nvidia drivers.

old PC:
fx 6300
corsair 650 psu
16 gb ram
1660 ti

I cannot even get into the login screen. goes straight to blue screen over and over.

I have even tried to reinstall windows with a USB. once on the screen to install it goes to a blue screen again wtf man.

Tried t get into safe mode and I am unable. I am holding down the shift button and will not go into advanced options. any ideas?

Memory or drive you want to install Windows on i think. Reseat ram and replug the drive.

Its a new pny 1tb ssd

Got into the installing windows part and gave me an error and said to restart the installation and that is what I am doing now.

its on the getting files ready for install

Gets to 47% and error states windows cannot install required files.

Turn on the PC and just after you see bios screen hold down the power button to turn off. Cycle it three time and it will default to to the recovery screen to go into safe mode.

Reseat memory and reconnect the drive data cable or try another. Try a different drive as well.

I just reseated the ram. I disconnected the other drives and am installing on another ssd. getting files ready step again. it is a gigabyte ga-78lmt-usb 3 mobo

The drive is blank and was getting files ready and again error and restarted.

Can you redo the Windows installer? That's the next step to try.

Yes i am actually downloading windows onto another USB. almost done.

Bootable usb with linux and delete the drivers
