Question Sound cuts out and i have to refresh the device before it works again.

Hi, recently ive been having some issues with my sound, and it seems like ive tried everything to fix it, but im not sure where to turn to anymore. Basically, the issue is, my sound will essentially freeze, it will stop my youtube videos and everything, every couple of second it will play sound for like half a second, during which my youtube videos will play, but freeze again when my sound does. It keeps doing this until i go to my sound, and disable then enable the audio device, from what ive tried, even replugging it doesnt work. Ive uninstalled and reinstalled the audio drivers, ive tried multiple headsets and it does this on all of them, and ive tried closing pretty much everything expect for what im using at the time. The reason i mention that last thing is because ive noticed when theres a lot of sounds or things of open at one time it will do it more often and things with advanced sound engines especially like to break it. sometimes it goes 5 second before freezing again but sometimes it can be hours. It started about a month ago, i didnt do anything to my sound drivers or headset as far as i can tell.

Can you please tell if there's any external sound card installed on your computer? If so, changing its slot/USB port might help.

If you're using the built-in sound card, please try installing an earlier version of audio driver instead of the latest one.

If the issue persists, please try Running the SFC /SCANNOW Command and see if it helps.

Please report back with the results if none of the above solutions work, and you need further assistance in this.
