Yes. SP2 is designed for computers that are less than 14 minutes old. If
you have had you computer for less than 14 minutes, you will have to buy a
new computer prior to installation of SP2. If your computer is still under
warranty, you may be able to convince the manufacturer to give a new
computer. Just remember to download nad install SP2 before the computer is
14 minutes old.

That's a rather open ended question and there's no way to respond. We don't
know what you have installed, we know nothing of your setup or how attentive
you are to keeping your system up to date.

First, you should make sure you are well backed up. Regardless of what
anyone tells you about the how safe or easy such an update might be, this is
a major update to the operating system and things can go wrong so be sure
your data is backed up.

Second, if you start to have problems after the update, the two most likely
culprits are either device drivers or some conflict with an application.
Check device manufacturer websites and application maker sites for any known
issues with SP 2 as well as for updated drivers and patches. If you have a
commercially built system from a major manufacturer, check their website for
any information regarding SP2 and any patches or updates they recommend as
well as any issues concerning your model PC.
