Splinter cell conviction poor perf despite 10.4a & ubisoft update??

is anyone experiencing poor fps in splinter cell conviction with a 5k card WITH the 10.4a AND the cfx support driver from ubisoft?

I updated both and still only get 12-20 fps..

got dual 5970..but with this game am only running one and still doesnt help as I figured quad gpu support may not be that good..
so I disabled it and still lousy performance..
my system specs are 980x, asus pt6 deluxe v2, 12 gig 1600 ddr3 ram and the dual 5970..

any advice?

The crossfire profiles can be crappy sometimes.. Have you tested it with a single card without the crossfire.? I am going to get the game today.. I have a single 4870 in my rig.. Hopefully it can handle it..

hey.....same problem..

well go to the catalsy control center or panel and setting should be altered to max quality,that should do it for u?worked for me......
