Running Windows XP SP1 with all updates. SP2 has not been loaded. Boot the
PC, everything is fine. After the first print job is created, spoolsv.exe
runs processor utilization to 99-100%. Computer slows dramatically. The only
fix that has worked has been to stop and restart spoolsv.exe.

Computer description:

P4 processor
1/2 to 1 gb ram
120 gb HD
HP 4200 printer, connected locally

NAV CE 9.5 running

Things been done:

Full virus sweep
Repair install of OS
registry clean up
verify that the machine is not infected with Ciadoor.b trojan

This is affecting 4 machines of 100. Any assist is gretly appreciated.

How do you have "1/2 to 1 gb" of RAM?
