[SOLVED] Ssd appearing in bios but not device manager or disk management. (Crucial BX500 2.5 inch 480Gb)

recently bought a ssd, but it wont appear anywhere in windows, but is recognized by the bios.

Motherboard: Gigabyte B560M DS3H
Main storage: m.2 Nvme ssd Samsung 500Gb
Cpu: Intel 10700 i7
Gpu: AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT
Trying to install a Crucial BX500 2.5 inch 480Gb

It may well be that the M.2 ports is conflicting with the specific SATA port.

All of the ports have been tried out, none have given me anything.

Does this drive work on a different PC?

I have no way of verifying if it does or not.

The only other thing is to check the cable connections, or replace the cables.

But there is no magic to determine if it is the drive, or the motherboard.
Having checked all the other SATA ports, I'd lean to a defective drive.

Solved my own issue, posting it in case someone else has this problem, I needed to install my motherboards official sata drivers, which for whatever reason were not installed initially.
